What is CommentAnywhere?

CommentAnywhere allows you to interact with your Facebook friends and networks directly on any and all web pages, without leaving the page.

Add comments, photos, and videos directly to a web page and share your added content only with relevant friends. Read and respond to commentary created by your friends as you browse.

Getting Started

When you join, the CommentAnywhere toolbar synchronizes with your Facebook account.

Browsing

The toolbar is available on all web sites, allowing you to create and send content to friends as well as read the content they send to you.

The Toolbar

The toolbar is the interface between your social network and the rest of the internet, allowing you to create commentary as well as filter others' commentary.

Mouse over each description to see the corresponding action on the toolbar.

Adding Commentary

Instead of emailing your friends links to interesting articles, text, or videos, leave them a comment directly on the original web page. It's not only more fun, but faster and easier.

Your friends will automatically see your added content in their CommentAnywhere News Feed or when they visit the page themselves.

Commenting in Action

To add commentary, you'll find everything you need in the toolbar. Mouse over each step to see what each action looks like on the web page below.

	Select the type of media you want to add from the toolbar menu.
	Point and click where on the page you'd like to place your comment.
	Write a note or choose a photo or video.
	Assign the commentary to any or all of the networks you belong to.
	Hit submit and you're done.

Breaking Content Silos

When you choose to add photos or videos, you can directly import from popular sharing sites such as Facebook, Flickr, and YouTube. You'll have all of the rich media of the internet at your fingertips at all times.

Networks

Networks allow you to customize your browsing experience on a domain by domain basis. Match your friends and networks with domains where you'd like to see their commentary. We remember your settings for next time so you don't have to.

The Network Selector

The Network Selector area of the toolbar provides you with network-specific functionality. Mouse over each description to see what it looks like while browsing.

After loading, commentary exists, but is transparent and unobtrusive

Use the Dashboard to quickly see all of a network's commentary on the page

Read and reply to comments, view pictures and videos directly on the Dashboard

Hide all commentary from a particular network

Hide all commentary; return to normal browsing
